Who We Are

Valley.Works is owned and operated by the Executive Director Samantha Sheehan. She and her partner moved to the Mad River Valley for a winter season 5 years ago and never looked back. Prior to living Vermont she worked in editorial offices, galleries, as an artist assistant, and photography teacher. Since moving to Vermont she has worked full time in Marketing and Business Administration for a local chef owned Restaurant, which she fondly refers to as her time in Business School. Valley.Works was born out of her desire to see a more vibrant and active community of professionals working within the creative industries in Central Vermont. Samantha has a passion for service and community and has built Valley.Works around a centerpiece of learning and development. Valley.Works is both a community and a space, one where it's members can go to work, learn, and be treated as the professionals they are. Samantha works hard to foster this ideal.
